The general-purpose XP premium performance series is a best-in-class 2D handheld gun-style scanner. Incorporating the seventh generation of Honeywell’s proven imaging technology and a 1-megapixel imager and 800mhz processor to deliver superior scan performance. It easily captures even the most difficult-to-read or damaged codes – “making bad barcodes good”. It’s up to 2x faster than Xenon, with improved snappiness and “depth-of-field” scanning.
By leveraging the same trusted and reliable design, our customers will benefit from the years of experience, continuous investment and improvements that have been invested in Xenon. This also allows us to bring technology improvements to Xenon XP and maintain the same pricing. Coupled with the fact that XP is backward compatible with Xenon 1900 and 1902 configuration and accessories – there is no need for customers to rip and replace if they’ve already got Xenon deployed today. With a FW update the 1952 scanners can be used in 1902 charge and communication bases. These factors deliver on the commitment to reduce total cost of ownership for our customers.T
